Welcome to April 2010 Plein Air 365 by Ted Garcia.
Is it done yet?! I love the snow just as much as any other Coloradoan, but at this rate I won’t have any flowers until July. Oh well, I love where I live.
April was full of many trips to Red Rocks Amphitheater. I started to paint there due to the national graphic structure of the rock outcrops. I love the angles within the rocks contrasting with the open space of the sky along with the cross angle fragments of the prairie grass. The comparison of subtle colors of reds and greens within the rocks are miraculous. To paint the Red Rocks Park is truly a geological wonder of our state of Colorado. (read complete letter)
